Privacy policy
This policy explains how Hopgood Goods Ltd collects and uses personal information through this website.
Who we are
Hopgood Goods Ltd is the data controller for the information you give us. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 16012909. Our registered office is 10 Juniper Crescent, Lostock Hall, Preston, PR5 5BZ. You can contact us about privacy at hello@hopgoodgoods.co.uk.
What we collect
When you use our enquiry form or email us, we collect:
- your name and email address
- your business name and type of business
- anything you choose to tell us in your message
How we use it
We use your information only to reply to your enquiry, discuss working together and, if we do business, to manage our relationship with you. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Our lawful basis
We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries. Where you ask us to supply or buy goods, we also process your information to take steps before entering into a contract with you.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers, such as our email and website hosting providers, to run our business. They only process your information on our instructions. Some providers may store data outside the UK; where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place. We will only share your information with anyone else if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not lead to us working together, we delete your details within 12 months. If we do business together, we keep records for as long as needed for that relationship and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, normally six years.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- ask us to correct or delete your information
- object to or ask us to restrict how we use it
- ask us to transfer your information to someone else
To use any of these rights, email us at hello@hopgoodgoods.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
